Gridlock Garden

★★★★☆ 4.1 Editor rating

Gridlock Garden takes the familiar sliding-tile idea and wraps it in a gentle gardening theme. You shift tiles to open channels of light to seedlings, and each cleared bed unlocks a prettier little plot. It's cosy without being brainless.

The difficulty creeps up well. Early boards are a warm-up, but later ones start layering constraints — limited moves, locked tiles, lights that fade — and we found ourselves genuinely planning. A few of the bonus levels are properly tricky.

If you like a puzzle to unwind with, this fits the bill. It won't melt your brain, but it's a tidy, polished little game with no nagging mechanics getting in the way.
